The hostess greeted us warmly (we didn’t catch her name), and our server, Colette, was kind, attentive, and wonderful throughout the entire meal. We were also lucky enough to meet Chef Richie, who stopped by our table to share how much pride he takes in preparing this special meal and how important Mother’s Day is to him and the residents.
Our relative couldn’t be happier living at The Brennity, and after that experience, we can see why. The entire visit was thoughtful, welcoming, and absolutely delicious. If it were open to the public, I’d eat there every day!
He has been receiving wonderful care, loves the food - 3 meals a day & snacks, care-givers & staff, new friends, and he joins into fun and relevant activities. He seems so happy and content, which makes me feel very thankful, and gives me a real sense of relief knowing he is safe, cared for, and is happy. I can visit him as often as I’d like, and can take him out when I wish, as well.
My cottage is beautiful, complete with a garage, a laundry room, two baths, nice kitchen, large family room, and three bedrooms. My neighbors in the surrounding cottages, as well as residents in the Independent apartments, are friendly and active. I have two puppies, and I enjoy taking them to the spacious Pet park near me, where they can run freely, and also meet with other neighborhood dogs. The Dining Room in the main building is beautiful, and the food is quite good! Activities and entertainment are offered daily, by a very talented & imaginative Director. The staff is receptive to suggestions by the residents, and there is an active Resident Council and Community. I could go on, but suffice it to say, I am very happy here, and pleased that we moved into The Brennity at Melbourne.
